1. All CEES majors develop, with the assistance of a CEES
faculty adviser, a coherent course of study which meets their needs and
specific qualifications. A course of study requires the approval of the
director responsible for the concentration.
2. Relevant
independent study courses, developed in consultation with the CEES
adviser, may fulfill the major requirements.
3. Students
also may fulfill major requirements by taking courses, with the prior
approval of their CEES faculty adviser, at the Rutgers University
campuses in New Brunswick/Piscataway and Camden, the New Jersey Institute of
Technology, or through Rutgers' study abroad programs.
For
descriptions of courses appropriate to the CEES program, see the
listings under the titles of each of the participating departments.
For minors related to the CEES program, see entries under Slavic (861) and German (470).
An individual minor in CEES (149) also may be developed with the approval of the program directors.
