The postbaccalaureate D.N.P. adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner program is 68 credits with a minimum of 540 clinical hours devoted to
precepted nurse practitioner (NP) practice and 500 project hours in which students develop, implement, evaluate, and disseminate their D.N.P. projects.
Graduates
will be eligible to sit for certification through the American Nurses
Credentialing Center or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as
an adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner.
