The postbaccalaureate D.N.P. psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner
program is 74 credits with 720 clinical hours devoted to precepted nurse practitioner (NP)
practice and a minimum of 500 project hours in which students develop,
implement, evaluate, and disseminate their D.N.P. projects.
Graduates
will be eligible to sit for certification through the American Nurses
Credentialing Center as a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner.
