The postbaccalaureate D.N.P. adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner program is 71 credits with 540 clinical hours devoted to precepted nurse practitioner (NP) practice and a minimum of 500 project hours in which students develop, implement, evaluate, and disseminate their D.N.P. projects.
Graduates will be eligible to sit for certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center or American Association of Critical Care Nurses as an adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner.
