To be awarded a degree, a student in the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences must complete a minimum of 120 credits* of coursework with a cumulative grade-point average of 2.000 or better. The student must satisfactorily complete the requirements of one of the curricula (major programs of study) available to the school's students. These curricula are listed and their requirements are outlined in the chapter on Programs of Study. In addition, the student must complete 30 of the last 42 credits at Rutgers. With careful planning, full-time students who begin their higher education at the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences, and who have not placed into remedial courses or changed majors, should be able to complete their degree requirements in four years.
