The human resource management (HRM) undergraduate courses offered through the
School of Management and Labor Relations cover a broad range of topics
associated with HRM from the perspective of the HR professional, the
manager, and the employee. The program prepares students who are
interested in a career in human resource management--or hope to become
managers or team leaders during their careers--with some of the issues
they will have to deal with, such as staffing, motivating, and
developing team members.
The
bachelor's degree program in human resource management is a multidisciplinary
major that draws heavily from business strategy, psychology, economics, and
sociology. Students will gain exposure to a broad range of HR topics, gain
marketable business skills, and are taught current HR
strategies by top faculty in the field with genuine interest in students'
success.
