Students
wishing to major in medical technology must have completed two semesters of
general biology, including laboratory, with a grade of C or better in each
course. Both semesters of general biology must have been completed at the same
institution or on the same campus at Rutgers. No more than two courses with a
grade of D may be used to fulfill the requirements of the major. A 2.0 GPA must
be maintained in the biological sciences courses applied toward the major.
Departmental
approval is required to declare the major in medical technology. Students must meet with an adviser before they can successfully declare their major.
