The School of Management and Labor Relations' Department of Human Resource Management (HRM) features the most frequently published and cited human resources (HR) faculty in the United States. Students who pursue studies in HRM will understand the relationship between HR strategy and business success while obtaining valuable skills to apply across many industries.
A
course of study in human resource management is one path to
understanding business that does not require a complete business degree.
It helps prepare students interested in pursuing a master's degree in
human resource management (M.H.R.M.), or the master's in business
administration (M.B.A.).
A human resource management undergraduate major and minor are offered by
the School of Management and Labor Relations (SMLR). Further details
