Army ROTC is a leadership and management development program designed to commission officers in the U.S. Army. The program consists of 18 credits taken as general electives that can be combined with any academic major. Upon successful completion of the program, students will be commissioned as second lieutenants in the U.S. Army, the Army National Guard, or the Army Reserve. A monthly subsistence allowance is provided for juniors, seniors, and scholarship cadets. A number of two- and three-year scholarships are awarded annually on a competitive basis. The mission of the Army ROTC is to develop the leadership potential of students and have fun in the process.
