Dr. Chu applies the scientist-practitioner model throughout his research, his supervisory work with graduate students, and the courses he teaches in child psychopathology and cognitive-behavioral therapy for anxiety and depression. He is an active member of the Association for Advancement of Behavior Therapy, former president for the Child and Adolescent Anxiety Special Interest Group, and the coeditor of the SIG newsletter.
