The Rutgers School of Business-Camden (RSBC) Internship Program is
designed to supplement the academic program by offering qualified students a "real world" employment opportunity to gain professional experience prior to graduation.
To ensure high quality interns, RSBC students must maintain at
least a 2.75 GPA to participate. The program features online internship and
co-op courses for academic credit during the fall, spring, and summer terms
(winter session is not an option). The program offers the following track:
Internship Track (3-credits)
- Part-time or Full-time employment
- Offered in fall or spring - minimum 12 weeks
- Offered in summer - 8 weeks
- Minimum of 120 hours
Students can participate in the program a maximum of two (2) times
OR earn six (6) total credits.
Accounting Cooperative Track (6-credits) - accounting majors or
special permission only
- Full-time employment (40 hours per week) at one of the Big 4 Accounting firms or 2nd-tier or regional firms
- Offered in fall, spring & summer
- Minimum of 8 weeks
- Minimum of 320 hours
Internship Program Eligibility Requirements
- Minimum of 45 credits completed at the time of application to the internship course
- Cumulative Rutgers GPA of 2.75 or above
- Completion of at least three (3) Business Course courses(e.g., Business Communications, Principles of Marketing, Organizational Behavior)
- Completion of at least 120 hours in the internship position during the semester of course enrollment over a minimum of 12 weeks in the fall and spring semesters or a minimum of 8 weeks in the summer
