The
Honors College provides a course of study with provocative
new courses designed for honors students. Students experience honors seminars in a variety of topics from

BUSINESS HONORS
The
Business Honors program is provided by the School of Business -Camden in
partnership with the Honors College. The students must be admitted to the
Honors College at Rutgers University-Camden to participate in Business Honors.
The goal
of the program is to provide a select cohort of high-achieving students with
stimulating, enriching, and experiential learning opportunities to foster their
leadership skills, peer collaboration, a sense of community, and continuous
growth opportunities through networking. The key highlights of the program are
cohort-based business core classes with professional guest speakers and
engaging projects, development of a job interview portfolio both through
academic and extra-curricular activities, professional networking, corporate
shadowing in the junior year, and other corporate engagements and trips. The
students will also take exclusive elective seminars through Honors College
offered by business school professors and focused on the cutting-edge topics,
such as AI and Technology in Business, Sustainability and Societal Impact,
Leadership, and Managing Innovations.
Admission
into the program is consistent with Honors College admissions for students who
want to major in any business field. The majority of students are admitted as
first-year students, with a possibility of a limited number of sophomores and
transfer students with outstanding academic records to be invited to join the
program. Students with received Honors College-Business Honors on their
transcript if they satisfy Honors College and Business Honors graduation
requirements (at least six designated Business Honors business core courses,
one business-focused Honors elective seminar, global societal impact
requirement, service and engagement requirements).

BUSINESS LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (BLDP)
The Rutgers School of Business-Camden's Business Leader Development Program (BLDP) is where tomorrow's business and community leaders can hone the skills they need to reach their full potential as leaders. Students who qualify for the BLDP will have the opportunity to network and receive enhanced training and mentorship by Rutgers School of Business-Camden faculty, as well as area business leaders. BLDP students who demonstrate ongoing leadership, both in and outside the school (accumulated and verified as "leadership units"), receive recognition at graduation and a notation of program completion under "Honors" on their transcript.
