BUSINESS HONORS

The Business Honors program is provided by the School of Business -Camden in partnership with the Honors College. The students must be admitted to the Honors College at Rutgers University-Camden to participate in Business Honors.

The goal of the program is to provide a select cohort of high-achieving students with stimulating, enriching, and experiential learning opportunities to foster their leadership skills, peer collaboration, a sense of community, and continuous growth opportunities through networking. The key highlights of the program are cohort-based business core classes with professional guest speakers and engaging projects, development of a job interview portfolio both through academic and extra-curricular activities, professional networking, corporate shadowing in the junior year, and other corporate engagements and trips. The students will also take exclusive elective seminars through Honors College offered by business school professors and focused on the cutting-edge topics, such as AI and Technology in Business, Sustainability and Societal Impact, Leadership, and Managing Innovations.

Admission into the program is consistent with Honors College admissions for students who want to major in any business field. The majority of students are admitted as first-year students, with a possibility of a limited number of sophomores and transfer students with outstanding academic records to be invited to join the program. Students with received Honors College-Business Honors on their transcript if they satisfy Honors College and Business Honors graduation requirements (at least six designated Business Honors business core courses, one business-focused Honors elective seminar, global societal impact requirement, service and engagement requirements).
