The objective of the minor at the School of Business-Camden is to
supplement the student's major area of study with basic accounting,
finance
,
human resources, entrepreneurship
,
management,
or marketing knowledge. The accounting minor prepares students to
understand the accounting function in business and to work with
accountants. The finance minor prepares students to work with finance
professionals. The management minor introduces students to basic
management concepts. The marketing minor prepares students to work with
marketing professionals.
Students may apply for admission to a business studies minor program after completion of 45 course credits.
Admission
generally is based on a grade-point average of 3.0 or above in the
eight courses that follow, and a 3.0 cumulative grade-point
average in all other college courses. See the section on admission
