- Official transcripts showing a bachelor's degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- An undergraduate major in Spanish is not required. However, sufficient proficiency in Spanish is mandatory.
- OPI (Oral Proficiency Interview) score is Advanced Low.
- Two letters of recommendation.
- A writing sample/statement of purpose both in English and Spanish.
- GRE is not required.
- The Praxis II is NOT required as an entry level, but essential to earn the degree.
Please note:
If you did your B.A. in another country, Rutgers requires a "Credential Evaluation and Authentication Report" from an authorized agency such as WES (World Education Services).
