The master of arts program features offerings in four tracks: American history, public history, legal history, and global history. The program is designed for those interested in career advancement and in building their historical understanding as well as their writing and research skills. Graduates work in educational institutions, museums, archives, and other public institutions, and in fields such as secondary and college education.The program provides exceptional preparation for those seeking to enter a Ph.D. program.
