Applicants should hold a master of social work (M.S.W.) degree or a related discipline. Students with an M.S.W. are allowed to transfer 18 credits toward the Ph.D. upon completion of 12 credits of graduate-level coursework in the doctoral program with grades of Bor better. Transfer credits from other master's degree programs are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
