Admission


A bachelor's degree, or its equivalent, from a recognized institution of higher education is required, and an undergraduate grade-point average of 3.0 or better is desired. Applicants must have at least seven years experience, including experience at the supervisory or managerial level. The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is not required for students with at least a 3.0 GPA from their undergraduate degree.

All applications are completed online at http://gradstudy.rutgers.edu. The following materials required for the application:

  • Application
  • Fee of $70 payable to Rutgers University
  • 7+ years of managerial experience in public or nonprofit sectors
  • Detailed résumé
  • 3.0 GPA from prior degree at post-secondary institution (or GRE scores)
  • Official transcript from each post-secondary institution attended (bachelor's degree from recognized institution required)
  • Three letters of recommendation (at least one from current employer or supervisor)
  • International students: minimum TOEFL score of 90 or IELTS score of 6.5
