The 18-credit graduate healthcare administration certificate program provides students with advanced graduate studies in healthcare management and administration. Focusing on real-time and place-based case studies with experienced lecturers, students receive cutting-edge best practices information helping them to position themselves to expand their professional careers in this area.
Applicants for the healthcare administration certificate may take courses simply by completing the graduate application and selecting 20834R, Public Administration-Healthcare Certificate, within the nondegree option. Students completing the certificate should notify the Student and Academic Services staff, who will verify that the certificate courses have been completed, and issue the certificate.
Certificate courses completed with a grade of B or better may be used for the M.P.A. degree, should a student elect to apply to the degree program. If a certificate student elects to matriculate into the M.P.A. degree program, the admission application must be completed before the student may become matriculated.
