Students admitted to the School of Criminal Justice are assumed to be above-average students who possess the potential to deal successfully with all course requirements. The expected quality of performance is high in all aca-demic matters, including written assignments and class participation. Candidates for the master`s degree must have a cumulative grade-point average of 2.83 (excluding one course). Only two courses with the grade of C or C+ are acceptable toward the master`s degree. When a student`s cumulative grade-point average falls below 2.83 in more than two terms, the M.A. Scholastic Standing Committee recommends dismissal from the program for academic deficiency.
