Academic Advisers

All master`s degree students are advised by the associate dean, who reviews and discusses each first-year student`s course selections during the fall and spring registration periods. Before registering for courses each term, each first-year student`s registration card must be reviewed by the associate dean. M.A. students may use the Rutgers Touchtone Telephone Registration System (RTTRS) after their first year in the program. The M.A. Scholastic Standing Committee is responsible for reviewing annually each student`s academic progress.
