The master of science in business of fashion (M.S.B.F.) program targets academically strong students from both creative and
business backgrounds. Industry professionals seeking advancement and/or job changes, career switchers, designers, entrepreneurs, and those with business degrees and experiences as well as others simply interested in a career in the industry combine their diverse perspectives and backgrounds to create an enriched classroom experience. Admission is highly competitive and enrollment is limited. Decisions are made holistically and weigh various
factors including academic background, graduate test scores and/or relevant
work experience, and interest. The program is small and student-centric.
Application Deadlines
There
are three rounds of decisions per semester. We encourage applicants to apply early as we
admit applicants on a rolling basis as spots are limited.
For
application deadlines, please contact us at
fashion@business.rutgers.edu.
Note:
Exams must be completed two weeks before the deadlines for both international
and domestic students alike.
