One-year master's degree toward a CFA.

Holding a CFA charter is one of the prestigious accomplishments a professional in the finance industry can achieve. Rutgers Business School: Graduate Programs-Newark and New Brunswick's master of financial analysis (M.Fin.A.) program has been designed to help students achieve that goal. Rutgers, a member of the CFA Institute University Affiliations Program, offers a one-year master's degree designed directly to help students prepare to take the CFA exam.

Founded in 1766, Rutgers is the eighth-oldest university in the United States and one of nine colonial colleges that includes Harvard, Yale, Princeton, and Columbia. When you come to Rutgers, you will benefit from this tradition of academic excellence as well as enjoying our historic campus only 41 kilometers from New York City.

The Rutgers M.Fin.A. full-time program is taught at Rutgers Business School's $85 million building on the Livingston campus, one of five campuses that make up Rutgers University-New Brunswick, a secure, suburban campus in rural New Jersey. Students interested in the part-time program have the option of taking courses on the Livingston campus, on the Newark campus, and any satellite campus locations.

The program is led by Daniel Weaver, professor of finance and economics, who has published more than 35 articles in prestigious finance journals and been widely quoted in newspapers across the country, including the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times as well as appearing on CNN and CNBC. Weaver tailored the M.Fin.A. program to help students be successful when they take the CFA exam, including special preparation for international students.
