Second Concentration

In today's rapidly changing professional landscape, employers and many graduate schools seek employees with multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary expertise. To that end, all students must develop a second concentrated academic focus. This second concentration can be met through completion of any of the following:

• a second major;
• a minor;
• the teacher certification program offered by the Department of Urban Education;
• the Honors College program;
  
• the Honors Living-Learning Community;
  
• the Pre-Health as a second concentration program;
  
• a bachelor's/master's dual-degree program; or
• School of Health Professions joint program
