Marketing Core Requirements

All marketing majors required to maintain a cumulative grade-point average of 2.50 and complete the following required courses:

Marketing Electives

All marketing majors are required to complete three marketing electives from the following list of courses:

29:630:490/1  Marketing Internship (3) (must complete the internship form and consult with a Rutgers Business School: Undergraduate-Newark (RBS) career management specialist to receive credit)

29:630:495  Marketing Cooperative Education (BA) (6) (6 credits: 3 credits will count toward marketing elective credit, and 3 credits will count toward free elective credit.) Internship program for six months (January to June, or June to December) at a participating corporation. Students must complete the co-op form and consult with an RBS career management specialist to receive credit. Evaluations by corporate supervisor in the participating organization and an RBS career management specialist determine final grade in the course. Prerequisites: 29:010:204, 29:390:329, 29:620:301, 29:630:301 and junior standing.
