Requirements (18 credits)

1. Language requirement: two semesters (6 credits) of a foreign language at any level. No credit is given for existing proficiency in a foreign language.

Study abroad is strongly encouraged. A student majoring in one of the cooperating disciplines (Spanish and Portuguese studies, anthropology and sociology, history, and economics) may not count more than 6 credits of his or her major toward this minor.
