Passing score on Praxis CORE Academic Test*

The New Jersey Department of Education waives this requirement for applicants with at least:
SAT score of 1660 combined (critical reading, writing, math); ACT
score of 23; GRE scores of 4.0 analytical writing and combined 310
quantitative and verbal.

Students from Newark College of Arts and Sciences and University College and from New Jersey Institute of Technology
(NJIT) are able to apply to UTEP twice a year. Application deadlines
are April 1 for fall admission and November 1 for spring admission.
