After a student declares his or her minor at the Department of Biological Sciences, an adviser will be assigned. Then, to complete the minor the following requirements need to be fulfilled.
The biology minor requires a minimum of 22 credits and includes the following courses:
21:120:101-102 General Biology (4,4)
21:120:301 Foundations of Biology: Cell and Molecular Biology (3) and
21:120:302 Foundations of Biology Laboratory (1)
One course from each of the first three clusters (a-c) of courses in section 3 listed in the
description of the biology major in this catalog (9 to 12 credits).
Questions concerning the minor may be directed to the Department of Biological Sciences, Boyden Hall, Room 206, (973-353-5347).
Minimum: 22 credits in biological sciences (School 120)
