This five-year program makes it possible for students to earn a baccalaureate degree from the Newark College of Arts and Sciences and a master of business administration degree from Rutgers Business School: Graduate Programs- Newark and New Brunswick. The program is designed for the highly motivated student who, at an early stage, has decided to pursue a career in management. Program requirements are

1. A minimum of 94 undergraduate credits in liberal arts subjects, including satisfactory completion of the general requirements of the Newark College of Arts and Sciences

2. Satisfactory completion of an undergraduate major at the Newark College of Arts and Sciences other than business or accounting

3. A cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or better at the Newark College of Arts and Sciences and a Graduate Management Admissions Test score in the top quartile

Careful planning is necessary to complete the undergraduate requirements specified within a 100-credit framework. Accordingly, the program is ordinarily open only to students who matriculate as first-year students at Newark College of Arts and Sciences or to those who transfer with no more than 30 credits.

Students interested in this program should contact the Office of Student Affairs during their first year; an official declaration of intent must be filed during the sophomore year at the Rutgers Business School: Undergraduate-Newark.
