26:834:570Theory and Practice of Nonprofit Management (3) Introduces theory, history, structure, and management of nonprofit organizations. Emphasis is given to critical functions such as fund-raising and grantsmanship, financial management and budgeting, marketing and communications, leadership styles, and monitoring and evaluation.
26:834:571Nonprofit Budgeting (3) Introduces budget concepts and processes used by nonprofits; provides essential skills and experience in budgetary analysis and management for nonprofit agencies and organizations.
26:834:577Human Resource Management for Nonprofits (3) Explores concepts, practices, and strategies of human resource planning; staff development, compensation, and evaluation. Emphasizes volunteer management, staff-board and trustee relationships.
26:834:578Strategic Planning and Management for Nonprofits (3) An integrated overview of theory, processes, and practices emphasizing methods and techniques for achieving nonprofit organizational goals and customer satisfaction.
26:834:xxxEmotional Intelligence (3) * Requires the student to be knowledgeable in E1 theory, the act of intentionally using emotions in guiding thinking and behavior, as well as encourages the application of emotional intelligence through a variety of assessments and theory-to-practice assignments.
