Provides knowledge of the normal physiologic functions of the kidneys and anatomy of
renal circulation, as well as the pathophysiology of renal disorders. Identify the etiology, clinical presentation, and treatment of fluid/electrolyte
imbalances and interpret acid-base disorders. Calculate appropriate patient specific fluid requirements, renal function, and dosing regimen. Determine and classify the type of acute kidney injury a patient is experiencing.
