Minor Program

The interdisciplinary minor consists of a minimum of six courses (totaling at least 18 credits) from the following list of approved courses. One of these courses must be a South Asian history survey course or equivalent. Not more than two of the six courses can come from any one discipline. Cross-listed courses can be counted only once, but may be considered as being in either of the departments in which they are listed. Courses taken at St. Stephen's College in Delhi, India, under the Rutgers University Study Abroad program may be included in the six, subject to the approval of a faculty adviser. Any 200- or 300-level course in South Asian history offered through the history department will fulfill the history survey requirement. Consult the program for a list of such courses.
