Qualified cadets may compete for training opportunities at
Airborne, Air Assault, Mountain Warfare, and Northern Warfare schools. Through
the Cultural Understanding and Language Program (CULP), there are summer scholarship
opportunities for contracted cadets to study abroad, involving identified
critical language and subject areas. Cadets attend the Leadership Development and
Assessment Course (LDAC) at Fort Lewis, Washington, during the summer before
their senior year. Following completion of LDAC, rising seniors have the opportunity
to participate in one-month internships with the Army branch of their choice at
domestic and international locations.
