Government-issued uniforms and equipment are provided to all students enrolled
in Army ROTC. These items must be returned to the ROTC department at the end of each semester or as directed
by the ROTC supply officer.
Contracted cadets enrolled in the basic course of Army ROTC receive
$300 to $350 as a monthly stipend while attending classes. Contracted advanced
course cadets receive $450 to $500 as a monthly stipend while attending
classes. Army scholarship recipients receive the stipend and an additional $1,200
for books per year. New Jersey Army National Guard members who are also Army
ROTC cadets may be eligible for additional tuition benefits. Through the Critical Language Incentive Program (CLIP), contracted cadets receive bonuses for studying select foreign languages.
