Transfer students who wish to major in psychology must take at least seven in-class psychology courses at Rutgers–New Brunswick; minors must take at least three courses at the New Brunswick Campus. Fieldwork, research in psychology, internship, and honors courses do not count toward meeting this requirement. Students transferring from two-year colleges may transfer General Psychology, Quantitative Methods, and no more than two additional courses to be counted toward the major. Transfer courses and other courses not offered within the School of Arts and Sciences' Department of Psychology in New Brunswick that do not meet for at least four calendar weeks in classrooms on college campuses may not be counted toward the major or minor.
