Students whose Rutgers cumulative grade-point averages are between 3.160 and 3.350 graduate with the distinction cum laude. Those whose averages are between 3.360 and 3.650 graduate magna cum laude. Students whose averages are between 3.660 and 4.000 graduate summa cum laude. Averages are not rounded to the next higher number in the calculation of honors. Only courses completed at Rutgers are counted in these averages.
