Degrees are conferred by the university at the recommendation of the school faculty only at the annual commencement at the end of the spring semester. Students completing degree requirements in October or January may make a written request to the Office of the Registrar for a certificate attesting to their completion of degree requirements after October 1 or January 1, provided they have filed a Diploma Information Card.
