Scholarships

Students attending the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences have the opportunity to compete on both a merit and a need basis for a large number of school-based scholarships.  In addition, many of these scholarships reflect the research aspect of the school, and the students are selected to receive those scholarships based on the quality of the research they are conducting under the direction of a faculty member.

In February of each academic year, the school's Office of Academic Programs notifies students matriculated in the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences (except seniors) of the start of the annual scholarship application process for the following academic year.

A number of academic prizes and departmental scholarships are also awarded through academic departments to the school's students in various fields of study, often on the recommendation of the faculty in the appropriate curriculum. Students automatically are considered for all awards for which they are eligible.  For additional information and a listing of scholarships, visit: http://www.sebs.rutgers.edu/sfa.
