Artistic and Academic Progress

A grade of B or better is expected in all coursework. However, at the department's discretion, up to as many as 4 credits of C grades may be considered for meeting the master of fine arts (M.F.A.) in dance degree requirements. Grades are reviewed by the graduate faculty each semester. Students may be required to withdraw from the Mason Gross School of the Arts if they do not maintain satisfactory academic or professional standards in any phase of the program. Academic dismissal may be appealed in writing to the Scholastic Standing Committee of Mason Gross School of the Arts.
