Scholastic Standing

Students must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 in the doctoral coursework and dissertation research courses. In addition, the associate dean for academic affairs may dismiss, with the concurrence of the Ed.D. director and the Committee on Admissions and Scholastic Standing, any academically deficient student, provided that the student is kept fully informed of the Graduate School of Education's dissatisfaction with his or her academic performance and that the decision to dismiss is careful and deliberate. Students may also be dismissed from the program for certain violations of the Academic Integrity Policy. (For further information, see http://academicintegrity.rutgers.edu/academic-integrity-at-rutgers).
