Only grades at the level of C+ or above will be counted toward credit for the master's degree. After two grades of C+, additional grades at that level will not be counted for credit.
In the case of a M.A./B.A. program:
- Track 1 (30 credits) allows students to earn up to 9 credits in advanced undergraduate (300- and 400-level) courses at Rutgers, with approval from the graduate program director.
- Track 2 (45 credits) allows students to take up to 12 credits in advanced undergraduate (300- and 400-level) courses at Rutgers if the graduate program director approves them.
- Track 3 (30 credits) allows students to earn up to 9 credits in advanced undergraduate (300- and 400-level) courses at Rutgers, with approval from the graduate program director.
Transfer students: Up to 9 graduate credits (with grades of B or better) may be transferred from other institutions, if taken prior to enrollment in the M.A.T., with the approval of the graduate program director.
