The master of science in chemistry program encourages hands-on research with the department's internationally recognized faculty. The program focuses on chemistry research in all major areas: analytical, inorganic, physical, theoretical, and biochemistry. Graduates enter careers in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, teaching, or are well-prepared to continue into a Ph.D. program in chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacology, food science, materials science, or related areas.
