In addition to the degree programs offered by the Graduate School-Camden, the following divisions of the university offer a variety of post-baccalaureate programs.

At Rutgers University-Camden, graduate programs are offered by the Rutgers Law School, the School of Nursing-Camden, and the School of Business-Camden.

At Rutgers University-New Brunswick, graduate programs are offered by the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology, the Graduate School of Education, Rutgers Business School: Graduate Programs-Newark and New Brunswick, the School of Communication and Information, Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy, the School of Management and Labor Relations, and Mason Gross School of the Arts.

In July 2017, the Graduate School-New Brunswick and the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences merged to become the School of Graduate Studies, which provides personalized academic support for approximately 5,200 Rutgers students enrolled in more than 150 doctoral, master's, and dual-degree programs across New Brunswick, Piscataway, and Newark.

Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences programs are offered in Newark and other locations in the state by Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, the School of Health Professions, the School of Public Health, Rutgers School of Nursing, New Jersey Medical School, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, and Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy.

The School of Social Work offers graduate and professional degree programs and holds classes at Rutgers University-New Brunswick, Rutgers University-Newark, and Rutgers University-Camden.
