The master of science (M.S.) in health outcomes, policy, and economics is sponsored jointly by Rutgers School of Public Health and Rutgers Ernest Mario School of
Pharmacy and is intended primarily
for those who are seeking a rigorous, multidisciplinary graduate program
in health outcomes, policy, and economics. The
curriculum includes coursework in health economics, biostatistics,
and health care policy and financing, along with clinical research design.
All students are required to complete a two-semester capstone project, and an independent research project guided by a capstone project
committee, during their second year.
