At the School of Public Health in New Brunswick
The M.P.H. in health systems and policy degree provides students
with an understanding of the organization and delivery of health care, the
sources of payment for health care, and health policy and health system
issues in the United States. Students are provided
with the skills needed to understand health care politics and policy in
the United States through examination of American political values,
government structure and process, and the goals of relevant
stakeholders; as well as how health
organizations deliver care and methods used to manage them, and
the constitutional and legal basis for the regulation of health.
Graduates are eligible to sit for the Certified in Public Health Exam.
