School of Public Health 2020-2022 Academic Policies and Procedures Registration Transfer Credits

Transfer Credits

Credits earned by students at other accredited institutions of higher education may be eligible for transfer. The student's faculty adviser, the relevant School of Public Health course instructor, and the associate dean for academic affairs must approve the credit transfer, and the student is required to present additional information such as a syllabus or reading lists. Students may officially apply for transfer credits after their first semester at the school, but are encouraged to start discussions with their faculty adviser prior to or during their first semester.

Students interested in exploring transferring in previous coursework must review the Transfer of Credits policy. This policy outlines eligibility, the procedures for applying for transfer credits, the requirements for eligible transfer coursework, and the maximum number of transfer credits allowed per degree or certificate.

Please visit the School of Public Health's Academic Policies and Procedures webpage for current and more detailed information about this policy.
