Students register for courses through an
online registration system. Instructions are provided at the time of admission. Once enrolled, students may register early for subsequent semesters. A Course Schedule is published each semester. Changes of registration may be made until the semester begins. See the
Office of the Registrar.
A student admitted into a degree or certificate program of the Rutgers School of Public Health is expected to remain registered full time (9 or
more credits), part time (1-8 credits), or on a leave of absence every fall and spring semester thereafter until he or she completes the program and earns the degree or certificate (up until the maximum time allowed for each degree or certificate).
Newly admitted students and continuing students are expected to register online prior to the start of the semester. Late registration is held during the first two weeks of classes, and must be conducted through the Office of Registrar. If a student registers during the late registration period, a fee will be charged to the student at the time of
registration. See the Late Registration policy for more information.
All students must have their registrations approved by their faculty adviser in order to be permitted to register. Students will be required to register using a registration pin number, which is issued by their adviser. All financial holds must be cleared by the end of any semester in order to register for the following semester.
Students who wish to take Rutgers School of Public Health courses and who are matriculated at another Rutgers school or at a non-Rutgers school are required to complete a written authorization form signed by the appropriate officials from both their home school and from the Rutgers School of Public Health. Students matriculated at Rutgers School of Public Health must receive written permission from their adviser to take courses at other Rutgers schools as well as at non-Rutgers schools.
