Student Responsibility to Keep Informed

Official communications among faculty, students, and staff members in the School of Public Health are delivered by email. It is the student's responsibility to regularly check their Rutgers School of Public Health issued email account. In certain circumstances, however, official communications are mailed to the student's home address by U.S. mail. It is the student's responsibility to keep the registrar informed of a current permanent mailing address by submitting a Change of Address form (https://sph.rutgers.edu/academics/forms.html).

The online catalog of the School of Public Health is the student's official guideline for information, policy, and procedures governing educational programs. Students should refer to the catalog and become familiar with its contents. Additional information regarding scheduling, registration, and deadlines is provided each semester on the school's website (https://sph.rutgers.edu/). The academic and other regulations established by the faculty and administration of the School of Public Health and the Board of Governors of the university are subject to amendment at any time.

The academic adviser is the student's mentor and guide for the academic program. Students should consult with their advisers regularly--at least once each semester.
