PHEL 0580 Independent Study in Research Methods (1-3) This course is offered at all school locations.
PHEL 0698 Special Topic (1-3) Prerequisites: By permission and arrangement. Completion of M.P.H. core courses.
PHEL 0762 Controversies and Debate on Current Issues in Public Health (3) This course familiarizes students with controversial issues in the current public health scientific literature and gives them experience in formulating opinions on controversial issues through making oral presentations before peers and in leading discussions among peers. Prerequisite: Doctoral student standing.
PHEL 9053 Contemporary Women's Health Issues and Public Health (1-3) This seminar provides students with a strong understanding of current public health approaches to women's health through examining contemporary issues in women's health, the women's health movement, and health care for women around the world.
