School of Management and Labor Relations 2018-2020 About the School of Management and Labor Relations Advisory Bodies

Advisory Bodies

The SMLR State Advisory Council (SAC) is a select group of advisers who provide the dean and the executive leadership team with insights and perspectives on the goals and priorities of Rutgers School of Management and Labor Relations (SMLR). The SAC is composed of Rutgers alumni and leaders in the management and labor communities as well as the public sector. Members are regionally or nationally prominent in their field with a strong background in public service or community engagement.

The SAC serves a critical role in linking the school's strategic objectives and activities with the interests of external constituents and stakeholders. The SAC's primary goal is to help chart SMLR's course and to advise senior leadership in the pursuit of maximizing the school's positive impact on management practice, union practice, public policy, and society at large.
