Overall, it is the goal of the doctorate of health informatics program to enable its graduates to:- Leverage health informatics concepts and techniques across
several core areas, including information management, pharmaceutical and
hospital processes and statistics, data analytics, and clinical decision-making.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate informatics
algorithms and technologies for improving health care delivery and
management.
- Perform a health outcomes or system development
project toward solving a research or methodological gap in the field of
clinical informatics, pharmacoinformatics, or health information
management.
- Communicate project findings effectively in both oral
and written forms in the form of conference posters/presentations and
peer-reviewed journal publications.
